Eric – Team Lead

Eric studied Systems Engineering, and led the design of the Arctic Fox Energy Tracking service in close collaboration with Energy Managers, Energy Specialists, and Energy Auditors in British Columbia. Eric is a specialist in consolidating utility data employing custom programming and sophisticated automation, and personally produces each Arctic Fox monthly report. As the direct contact for Arctic Fox clients, quality and dependable support is guaranteed. Eric’s background also includes management and design work for

  • Nortel Networks (optical networking)
  • MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (satellite systems)

Originally from the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Eric lived in Whitehorse, Yukon for six years, as well as several other countries, and is now back in the Vancouver area. Besides his work, he enjoys exploring the wilderness, arranging and composing music for his classical piano trio, and pursuing continuous personal development.

Bill, P.Eng. – Senior Advisor

Bill has 30 years of experience working as a manager and senior engineer for energy utilities and performing energy assessment consulting to government and to commercial and industrial businesses. Bill has held roles as

  • Manager of Commercial Marketing for Terasen Gas
  • Manager of Industrial Marketing for Terasen Gas
  • Senior Engineer at Terasen Gas and BC Hydro
Bill has given technical presentations to the World Bank, a Gubernatorial Conference on Natural Gas Vehicles, as well as numerous organizations including Combustion Canada and Environment Canada. He also acted as a representative on Federal, Provincial, and Regional Government initiatives, including Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment emission standards, Model Energy Code for Houses, Model Energy Code for Buildings, GVRD Air Quality Advisory Committee, CGA Industrial Technology Development Committee, CGA Commercial Marketing Committee, CEA Committee on Micro-Cogeneration, Science Council of BC Grants Committee and Energy Committee, and many others, and led an initiative to study and promote Community Energy Systems in concert with the Union of BC Municipalities. Bill lives in Surrey, British Columbia, and enjoys tending his gardens, spending time with his family, and snorkeling in tropical waters.
